Understand the basics of Sevens
Begin with the basic rule, then follow the result of your action. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Keep the goal in mind before your next move. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.
Four-player free Sevens with three local computer opponents. This table uses the seven-of-diamonds opening and low Aces.
Something to practise
A careful first move helps you understand the round. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end. The game area remains available above the explanation.
What you need to achieve
Check the rule below as you play. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.
Making your moves
- A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
- The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
- Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
- Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
- The first player with an empty hand wins the round.
Getting comfortable with the controls
Use the controls beside the game rather than guessing the rules. Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.
See how the rules apply
The board gives you the information needed for the next action. After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.
Keep this in mind
A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.
