Making your first moves in Scorpion Solitaire

Take a moment to read the table. Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Select cards directly on the tableau and work through a full solo deal. Check the relevant controls before continuing. A clear plan starts with the current position. Move a face-up card with its tail onto the next higher same-suit rank. Kings fill empty columns. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.

Seven columns; three stock cards dealt once to the first three columns. Free solo play, no wagering.

Take a closer look while playing

Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot. Check the relevant controls before continuing.

The trailing cards may be unordered, but the destination suit and rank must match. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.

A common point of confusion

Before making a move, check the cards in view. Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
